Aloe Vera is a natural remedy that most people don’t think to use. It has amazing healing powers for not only dark circles but also acne, cuts, burns and more. Getting yourself and aloe vera plant will come in handy all year round. When it comes to dark circles, put a few teaspoons of aloe vera in the fridge to cool it down. When it chilled, right before bed apply a decent layer to your under eye circles avoiding the eyes. The coldness of the aloe vera will reduce inflammation, and the aloe vera its self will heal the blood cells under your eyes to reduce the darkness. Continue to apply the aloe vera for a few weeks and you will notice a huge result!Β

Coconut oil has so many different uses from healing your body, giving you moister, you can it for cooking or cleaning and so on. It’s definitely a good thing to keep in the house, I know it can be a bit expensive but its totally worth it. Coconut oil is a gentle anti inflammatory reducing redness and puffiness under your eyes. Apply a dime size amount to under your eyes every night for a few weeks and you’ll start to see your eye bags disappearing. Also because it is so moisturizing, it helps tremendously with wrinkles and fine lines. The only tip I have is to not apply to any wear on your face other then your dark circles. This is because of coconut oil can tend to be very greasy causing acne or breakouts.Β

Again green tea bags are useful for so many things, the caffeine in the tea shrinks blood vessels so its good for eye bags, bruises, cuts and so on. Being as green tea bags are very inexpensive you can do this remedy every night without breaking the bank. Steep your green tea bag in warm water as if you were making tea. DO NOT use hot water you do not want to burn your eyes. Once your tea bag has sat in the warm water for 5 to 10 minutes take it out of the water and squeeze to release any extra liquid. Lay down on a flat surface and place tea bags on your eyes, focusing on your under eye area. The green tea is going to reduce puffiness and tightening around your eyes. When the skin around your eyes is very tight the blood vessels can clog in that particular area causing the blue and purple effect.Β

Cucumbers are not only good for eating but can and will help prevent and reduce bags and dark circles. Slice your cucumber in to inch size circles and place in the fridge to cool. Lay down on a flat surface or when your taking a bath and place them on your eyes again focusing on your under eye area. The coldness of the cucumbers like the aloe vera is going to help reduce the inflammation and puffiness. Cold cucumbers will also help prevent fluid build up under your eyes which is what gives them the puffy, large look. Allow the cucumbers to sit on your eyes for 5 to 10 minutes every night to get the desired effect.Β

If your looking for a cheap way to get rid of those stubborn eye bags this is the one for you. Everyone has two spoons in their house, simply place them in your freezer, yes not your fridge your freezer and let them get chilled and foggy. Take them out, lay on a flat surface and hold the flat side to your eyes bags. like I talked about earlier the coldness is going to reduce inflammation and puffiness. Only keep them on your eyes for 3 to 5 minutes. Letting them sit for to long can cause damage to your eyes and skin.Β

Sleep is so important to function properly in every day life. We all know how apparent our dark circles look when we don’t get enough rest. Getting your 8 hours of sleep is probably my biggest tip on how to reduce dark circles and under eye bags. You can apply as much serum, products or creams to your dark circle but none of it will work without sleep. Sleeping is our bodies time to grow new skin cells and repair itself. Meaning the blood vessels under your eyes will rejuvenate getting rid of the blue / purple effect. It’ll also allow the fluid under your eyes to disintegrate reducing puffiness. Another tip is to sleep with your head elevated. This is because it will allow fluids to flow evenly through your face and not collect in one area (under your eyes). The same with sleeping on your stomach. Those who sleep on their stomach are more likely to get thick puffy under eye bags.Β
