𝙳𝚎𝚌𝚘𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙼𝚢 𝚁𝚘𝚘𝚖: ᴏɴ ᴀ ʙᴜᴅɢᴇᴛ

Hey there my lovelies! I recently moved into a new apartment and it was definitely in need of some love. I am one of those people that can never shell out money on things that are not necessities, so here is how I decorated my room on  a budget!

𝚆𝚒𝚗𝚎 𝙱𝚘𝚝𝚝𝚕𝚎 𝙻𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝

This is a very easy and inexpensive decorating idea that can really brighten up your bedroom. If you are a wine drinker then you can rinse out one of your pretty wine bottles when your done with it. If you are not a drinker buy a bottle for a family member and ask that they give the bottle back to you when they are finished with it. For this DIY all you need is an empty wine, or liquor bottle and some string lights. I got these string lights at Target for $2.99, they also sell them at the dollar store, or most retail stores for under $5. String the lights through the top of the bottle, turn them on and enjoy!

𝚆𝚘𝚘𝚍𝚎𝚗 𝙱𝚘𝚡𝚎𝚜

Wooden boxes are an awesome way to add a rustic effect to your bedroom, while still keeping things organized and inexpensive! This wooden box I got at Michael’s Craft Store a few years back, and I use it to store the book’s I either wanna read before bed or am currently reading before bed. I love the way wooden boxes look with my decor, and it keeps my books organized and all in one spot. The nice thing is you can walk into any thrift shop and find a variety of boxes in different shapes and sizes. You can also switch out boxes for baskets if you have a preference.

𝚃𝚊𝚙𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚢 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚕𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚜

This is another inexpensive decorating tip that can add so much to a bedroom. The tapestry is from Target and was only $10.69, most of their tapestry pieces were on sale, check that out if you are interested! I used thumbtacks to attach it to the wall but there are obviously other methods to hanging tapestry. I chose to add string lights on border of the tapestry to give it light, when its dark out! I love the way it looks and it gives the room a soft vibe. The string lights were also from target for $9.99, so you can get this look for as little as twenty dollars!

𝙿𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚘𝚠𝚜

Decorative pillows are a great way to spice up and add color to your bedroom. A lot of decorative pillows can be expensive, but you can thrift these as long as you wash them throughly. You can also pick up some inexpensive ones at Walmart, Target or TJ Maxx. This pillow I got for at a thrift store for only $3, again make sure to wash it before sleeping on it.

𝙲𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚕𝚎𝚜

Candles are things that most people over look, but they can really add warmth to your bedroom and of course make it smell amazing. This is a soy candle, and 100% VEGAN which is how all my candles are, and it smells exactly like the beach. You can get candles almost anywhere, for under ten dollars, or even under five dollars. The nice thing about candles is that when you’re done burning them you can wash out the container and use it to store jewelry or other items!

𝙲𝚘𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚎 𝙼𝚞𝚐𝚜

Coffee mugs are probably the most inexpensive way to spice up a room. I got this adorable mug at the dollar store for obviously only a dollar and I use it to store my make-up brushes. You can get different colored mugs are use them to store pens & pencils, jewelry, make-up products etc. They can add color and character to any room in the house!
